Founded in 1858, and internationally renowned, Vulcain builds on the Cricket's reputation. The Cricket was also named "The Presidents' Watch", worn by Eisenhower, Nixon and Johnson among other leaders. Bernard Fleury and Alain Claude, the principals of Vulcain, have initiated production of 5,000 Vulcain watches per year.
Warranty
Vulcain watches are warranted by Vulcain to the original purchaser to be free from defects, in material and workmanship, under normal use for two years from the date of purchase.
Vulcain Product Line
The Cricket Nautical Watch is a reminder of the Vulcain diver's watch, first presented in 1961, characterized by an alarm which is audible underwater. This model features a stainless steel 42mm case, with triple density case back, ensuring water resistance to 1000 feet. The dial features an inner dial with decompression table indications. The Cricket Nautical (100107.025) has a list price of $3877.
The Vulcain Cricket Lady Classic 1951 Collection Watch (model 100503.017L) belongs to the classic era of Vulcain watches with a contemporary reinterpretation. It also includes an alarm function. The double case-back is both a resonance chamber and it ensures water-resistance to 165 feet. This model also features a blue, mother of pearl dial in 18K rose gold case, and retails for $6940.
The Cricket Aviator Watch is an entirely contemporary creation with dual time-zone and GMT function. The dual time-zone displays hours, minutes and seconds and includes an alarm and 12 hour dual time zone function. The GMT function is equipped with world time and the bezel features 24-city markings. Water resistant to 330 feet, this model (number 100105.019L) retails for $3000.
