Ventura WatchesAlfred Brodman, Bo Hansen and Günter Wermekes were original designers for Ventura and they influenced the entire world of luxury watches. Bo Hansen's watch design now sits in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art, in New York.
Today, Ventura's watches are created by Zürich designer Hannes Wettstein. Wettstein has once again taken Ventura's watches in a new direction by de-emphasizing its place as a fashion accessory and re-emphasizing elegant functionality. The models below show this new mindset.
Warranty
Ventura warrants all products to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use, for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
Ventura Product Line
The Ventura V-matic Classic Chronometer Chronograph Series Watch (model VM 18.01 T) features a Titanox case and bracelet, sapphire crystal and see-through case back. The chronograph has three subdials, including a 30 second stopwatch. It also includes shock-proofing and anti-magnetism. Water resistant to 650 feet, it lists for $2231.
The Ventura Sparc FX Watch (model W10T) features a titanium bracelet and case. This watch runs on a tiny generator which transforms wrist-movements into electricity. It never needs winding and includes other features such as a "sleep mode" which conserves energy. This watch lists for $2300.
The Ventura Myego Chronometer Hand Wind Series Watch (model VM 21.05 S) features a steel case and bracelet, sapphire crystal and has a see-through case back. Water resistant to 100 feet, it has a retail price of $1897.
The Ventura V-matic Loga Watch is another series of automatic chronometer chronographs (the model VM 6.11 T). This features a Titanox case and bracelet, sapphire crystal and see-through case back. Water resistant to 100 feet, it has a retail price of $2482.
Other Ventura Series
The Futura features quartz movement powered by a rotor-driven generator, with an 8-year power reserve and light-colored LCD display. It's another fine example of complex engineering in a deceptively simple Ventura design.
