Suunto Watches

Tuomas Vohlonen was a Finnish outdoorsman and orienteering enthusiast bothered by a persistent dilemma: how to keep a dry compass needle steady. An inaccurate reading was bad for orienteering, but could be much worse for soldiers or others. Vohlonen invented a field compass filled with liquid, giving birth to the Suunto Oy.

That was 1936. The company grew over the years, remaining at the forefront of readout innovation. Today, it is owned by the Amer group who let Suunto specialize in one area: sports technology. Suunto remains a pioneer in wrist top computers and other inventions.

Warranty

Suunto watches are warranted by Suunto, to the original purchaser, to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for one year from the date of purchase.
