Chase-Durer is the Swiss watch with Hollywood appeal. The company was formed in the early 90's when film producers Brandon and Marianne Chase teamed with Stefan Durer, a Swiss associate to create fine Swiss watches that were relatively affordable, directed to the needs of professional pilots.

The company has broadened its appeal with designs for women and elegant formal timepieces like the Diplomat and the Courier Automatic.

Chase-Durer Ladies' Hawke Silver Chrono watch (model CD170.2OB2-PVIB) features a mother of pearl dial, a chronograph measuring 1/10 seconds, 60 seconds and 30 minutes. The stainless steel case comes with 18K gold plating. The suggested price is $299.

Chase-Durer Ladies' Oxygene Ice watch (model CD281AX.2BWX-SHAB) sports a black dial & white numbers and a Shantung silk pewter strap. This model does come with different bands and features 152 diamonds (1.25ct) set in the oval top ring. Water resistant to 175 feet, this watch retails for $1495.

Chase-Durer Men's Pilot Commander XVI watch (model CD114.9BS6-BR08) features a chronograph with silver-colored 1/120th second, 30-minute and 6-hour subdials. With a scratch resistant mineral crystal, set in a steel case and water resistant to 300 feet, this rugged yet superlative timepiece retails for $299.

Chase-Durer Men's Abyss 1000 (model CD225.2PX1) is a limited edition watch featuring a crystal caseback to reveal the watch's movement. It also has a scratch resistant sapphire crystal and a brushed steel case engraved with the Chase-Durer emblem. This Chase-Durer is water-resistant to 300 meters. Only 999 of the Chase-Durer Men's Abyss 1000 were made. List price: $995.
